NGO Evum today
Now, during the time of war, we were forced to change our activity. Due to the fact that children with cancer, who had been undergoing treatment at Chernihiv Regional Hospital, couldn’t get the required treatment, the decision was made to evacuate those children. Our team and medical staff of the hospital worked out a plan of evacuation, which was successfully realized. All those children are now undergoing treatment in hospitals in Europe.
At the moment we are collecting humanitarian help (food, medicine, hygiene items, basic essentials etc.) and bringing it to Chernihiv.
Also due to the state of war we are reclassifying our organization for medical and humanitarian help to temporarily displaced families on the territory of Ukraine (Priority to children! Help to families will also be provided, in case of sufficient supplies)
Our History
As a team we have been systematically engaged in charity help to children with cancer since March 2016.
In 2016-2019 in cooperation with Vadym Nestyrchuk Charity Fund we did projects “OncoButterflies’ and “Create to live”.
After the fund stopped working in Chernihiv, we worked as an initiative group for a year. As a result, we finished the registration of our Non-Governmental Organization in February 2020.
Who do we help?
At the moment we are helping 33 children. 13 of them are undergoing treatment in our department, 17 children are receiving chemotherapy in pills at home and come to the department for check-ups and short cycles of chemotherapy, 3 children have orphan diseases and occasionally get courses of treatment at the hospital.
What we do?
We provide Haematological Department of Chernihiv Regional Children’s Hospital with medicine, consumables (syringes, IV systems, puncture needles, personal protective equipment etc.), special dietary food, hygiene products and disinfectants, stationery, home appliances, medical equipment upon need, toys and games for playroom.

We’ve been collecting money for medicine, consumables, medical equipment, holidays and presents for children with cancer and orphan diseases:

An important part of our work is support of the children and their families.
We organize birthday congratulations and celebrations of other holidays. We also organize movie nights, workshops, walks and other activities.
One of the most large-scale projects – “Fulfill a Dream”. At the end of each year together with benefactors we fulfill dreams of the children. 20 companies from Chernihiv oblast joined the project in 2020. 19 children received presents on the total amount of 90 870 UAH.
In 2021 17 companies and benefactors from Chernihiv oblast joined the project. Dreams of 28 children were fulfilled with 177 363 UAH spent on the presents.
