Each child’s path to recovery includes many medical tests that are necessary to accurately determine the physical state of the patient and prescribe an appropriate treatment plan. However, most of the medical screenings and blood tests are not free; therefore, there is a need to secure additional financial resources.
Evum aims to facilitate solving this problem by providing compensation or directly paying for medical procedures that are not covered by the social health package. This is especially important in cases where extensive and expensive medical diagnostics are needed. These diagnostic procedures can prove to be an unbearable financial burden for the family of a child with cancer.

Sometimes, to more accurately determine the nature of the disease, the doctor must use test results from several different laboratories. However, this may lead to additional costs for parents who afford certain types of diagnostics.
Evum solves this problem by financing, through donations, medical tests in various laboratories. This makes it possible to get a comprehensive and objective picture of the child’s health without additional stress for parents.
Maintenance in cases of expensive research
One of the main problems can be the payment of expensive diagnostics, such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET-CT), which is an important tool in the diagnosis and the monitoring of treatment. Usually, such scans are available only in private facilities, which makes the procedure costly for many families.
Evum raises funds to help pay for expensive tests, and to provide reimbursement for the cost of such tests for families who cannot afford them. Because of the support of our sponsors and volunteers, every child has the opportunity to receive the necessary treatment and undergo any diagnostic tests regardless of the financial situation of his/her family.
