In this material, we want to tell you a bit about another group of our friends and sponsors of charitable projects — IT Cluster Chernihiv. The Chernihiv IT Cluster is a community of information technology development companies whose mission is to improve conditions for the development and promotion of this industry in the Chernihiv region and beyond.
Evum has been cooperating with the IT Cluster for several years now, and during this time, thanks to their help, we have been able to implement various charitable projects that are already benefiting children. We have turned to them many times, telling them what the children need. And every time, we received a helping hand from them.
The people from IT Cluster Chernihiv do not wear superhero capes, but they always do what they can when their support is needed. In 2024, the IT community did not stand aside either: more than 100,000 UAH in aid came from them to Evum’s accounts. The funds were used to purchase medicines necessary for treating children, consumables, and to cover the costs of tests.
And that’s not all.
Recently, the Chernihiv IT Cluster raised funds to fulfill the dream of our Sashko from Mariupol — a boy who is currently undergoing treatment in the oncology department at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lviv. What Sashko saw in Mariupol is something no child in the world should ever have to witness… But unfortunately, his trials did not end there.
After evacuating from his native city, Sashko fell ill with sarcoma and lost his leg as a result of the disease. Therefore, the Cluster decided to help him and made Sashko’s dream come true: the IT specialists raised money and bought the boy a modern laptop for studying graphic design programs. This laptop is not just the boy’s dream — it is an investment in Sashko’s future education and a key to mastering new professions that will be available for him to learn.
The laptop was presented to the boy on his birthday, which made him very happy.

Our collaboration with the Chernihiv IT Cluster continues, and we are confident that together we will be able to implement many more charitable projects, help other children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses, fulfill their dreams, and give them hope for recovery.
