Our team has a cherished tradition: every year on St Nicholas Day we, together with our wonderful volunteers, visit children’s hospitals across Ukraine and organize a real holiday complete with gifts and festive entertainment for the young patients.
This year was no exception. St Nicholas and his helpers visited:
- The Oncohematology Department of Chernihiv Regional Children’s Hospital;
- St Nicholas Children’s Hospital in Lviv;
- Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Centre.
In Chernihiv, children welcomed St Nicholas and his team with shining eyes and huge smiles. They enjoyed a magical bubble show and a variety of creative workshops. As always, St Nicholas brought each child a festive gift and sweets. The joy on the little faces lit up the whole room and warmed the hearts of everyone present.
St Nicholas wished the children in Chernihiv a speedy recovery and peace, gave strength and faith to their parents, and then continued his journey to bring holiday magic to our young patients in Lviv. There, too, he visited the oncology and oncohematology wards, creating a truly festive atmosphere together with his helpers.
The entire Evum team sincerely thanks our volunteers, friends and partners who helped make this St Nicholas celebration possible. It thanks to you that we were able to bring holiday cheer and make the small Christmas dreams of these brave children come true.
