Throughout 2024, the Evum team has been actively collaborating with the Ukrainian Women’s Association of America (UWAA). UWAA is a non-governmental public organization that unites thousands of women and volunteers from the United States who help Ukrainian children. This year, together with the Ukrainian Catholic Parish of Saints Volodymyr and Olha in Chicago, they joined Evum’s charitable projects.

Thanks to UWAA’s assistance in 2024, we were able to purchase and deliver the following medical equipment to hospitals:

  • A portable ultrasound machine for the oncology department of St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital;
  • Specialized medical trolleys for the procedure room in the oncology department of St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital;

These trolleys are equipped with the necessary technical tools to provide emergency care to a child if they are in critical condition;

  • Organizers for gowns, masks, shoe covers, gloves, and caps, as well as antiseptic dispensers, for the oncology department of St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital, the Okhmatdyt Hospital in Lviv, and the oncology department of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Medical Center;
  • Infusion stands, a refrigerator for the procedure room, consumables for nurses’ work, blood sampling, and sterilization of medical instruments—purchased and delivered to the specialized surgery department of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Medical Center.
  • And also a large number of medical drugs, consumables, and payment for tests — all for the treatment of children with cancer from various parts of Ukraine.

Total amount of their help: 606,800 UAH

Children today are our future tomorrow. We thank UWAA and the Ukrainian Catholic Parish of Saints Volodymyr and Olha for their compassion and help. We continue our partnership in providing children’s hospitals with new medical equipment, necessary medicines, and consumables for treating children.

We are sincerely grateful to our partners and friends for helping save the lives of children undergoing oncology treatment in Ukraine! We are not stopping and continue working further.
