We have wonderful news again: thanks to our friends and partners from Germany, we purchased and delivered external fixation devices to the Clinic of Neuroorthopedics, Traumatology and Children’s Rehabilitation in Lviv. Oleksandr Korolkov, the head of the clinic, was very grateful and said that this is truly a valuable contribution to the treatment of children’s injuries and fractures.
The Evum team first met with Mr. Oleksandr, who is a leading orthopedic traumatologist, a few months ago. We heard from him that the clinic was experiencing a shortage of external fixation devices for treating injuries, fractures, and various traumatic defects in children.
So, we reached out to our friends from Germany, LandsAid and Aktion Deutschland Hilft, and they funded the purchase of the necessary medical equipment.
Thanks to our joint efforts, the Evum team purchased and delivered a set of external fixation devices and titanium rods for treating injuries and fractures to the traumatology clinic, totaling 188,144 UAH.
Mr. Oleksandr, accepting this gift, noted: “This is a wonderful set for treating all long tubular bones of the skeleton. Such external fixation devices are used in the treatment of various injuries: open fractures, closed fractures, intra-articular fractures, pelvic fractures and others.”
