The toys are also part of the therapy for children undergoing cancer treatment. The Evum team initiated and brought to life the charitable project “Boxes of Courage,” in which children find toys that help improve their mood after medical procedures. The kids have loved our Box of Courage so much that no procedure now goes without it.
We filled these boxes with everything children love: toys, coloring books, storybooks, creativity kits, and educational games.
The toys in such a box are for true heroes — for strong, brave children who fight for their health with extraordinary courage.
Recently, Boxes of Courage have appeared in pediatric departments in Chernihiv and Lviv, where children can take a toy to play with after their procedures.
Of course, we couldn’t have managed such a large volume of toys on our own, so we are grateful for the active participation of our friends and partners in the project.
First and foremost, we thank the Yuki store, which has been our reliable partner for many years. We can confidently call them a Socially Responsible Business that always ready to help our patients.
Yuki are our wizards who donated toys for the Boxes of Courage in oncology departments, and we are immensely grateful for their support and help. Amid painful procedures, injections, and difficult conditions after chemotherapy, toys bring smiles to children and lift their spirits — this in itself is the real reward for us and our sponsors.
Secondly, the Evum team is incredibly grateful to the girls from the “Good Fairies” Charitable Foundation and to Alona Rozumienko, who is currently bravely fighting cancer herself. The girls make toys for the children with their own hands, and every time a child takes one of these toys, their eyes light up with happiness! We received a huge number of soft toys from these tireless creators who craft incredible beauty and true goodness with their hands. Once again, thank you to the girls for their constant help and support!
Thirdly, on Children’s Day, a number of educational institutions in Chernihiv and Lviv joined the “Box of Courage” charitable campaign. Children helped other children by donating their toys and well-wishes for recovery to young patients — there is so much light and hope in this.
