Children are our greatest value. Today, we all strive to protect them from the horrors of war. At the same time, it is crucial to care for children who are undergoing treatment for severe illnesses during these challenging times.
The EVUM team is committed to ensuring that every child admitted to hospital is provided with everything necessary for timely, high-quality, and professional medical care.
This time, together with our friends and partners from Germany Aktion Deutschland Hilft та LandsAid e.V., we supported the Intensive Care and Anesthesiology Department at the Western Ukrainian Specialized Center in Lviv.
We purchased and delivered syringe and volumetric infusion pumps, which are used for the simultaneous administration of multiple medications at precise dosages; breathing circuits that connect patients to mechanical ventilators; laryngoscopes used during surgery for tracheal intubation; and oxygen cylinders for supplying medical oxygen to patients during transportation between hospital departments.
In total, medical equipment worth UAH 791,075 was purchased.
All of this equipment is truly essential for saving the lives of children admitted to the Intensive Care and Anesthesiology Department, where time can sometimes be a matter of minutes.
