Our friends and partners from Germany — the charitable foundations LandsAid and Aktion Deutschland Hilft — continue their vital mission of supporting the Department of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Immunology at St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital.
Thanks to their generous financial support, the Evum team was able to provide the department with highly valuable medical equipment — a specialized device for thawing fresh frozen plasma and stem cells.
This equipment is essential to:
- Significantly reduce the preparation time of life-saving blood components.
- Ensure the highest quality standards in the thawing of plasma and stem cells.
Having such equipment in the oncology department is critically important for performing transplants and providing emergency care to young patients. This device ensures that all procedures are carried out quickly, efficiently, and in full compliance with the highest medical standards.
The total cost of the equipment: UAH 460,000.
