In the fight against cancer, there are no small details. Safety and quality of treatment are the foundation on which the recovery of young patients is built.
Recently, the team of the NGO “Evum” delivered important new medical equipment to the hospital blood bank of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Center in Lviv — a low-temperature Haier Biomedical freezer.
Why is it needed? As explained by Nataliia Fedyk, Head of the Department, during treatment children often require blood components, in particular fresh frozen plasma. To ensure that plasma retains its therapeutic properties and remains safe, strict temperature control must be maintained.
How the new Haier Biomedical freezer helps the hospital:
- Doctors can now store large reserves of plasma.
- Guaranteed stable temperature for safe storage.
- Confidence for doctors that patients receive blood components of the highest quality.
This equipment is another step toward victory over the disease for children.
We sincerely thank our partners and donors from Germany — the charitable foundations LandsAid e.V. and Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
Thanks to their support, we were able to purchase and deliver this freezer to where it is urgently needed. Together, we are truly making Ukrainian healthcare stronger!
