As everyone knows, Christmas itself carries the magic of miracles. Yet the greatest miracle of all is the emotions of children on this special day. Today, we want to share the story of people who did so much to bring smiles to children’s faces, to give them hope for recovery, and to chase away sadness with their sincere kindness.
The Ukrainian Hearts team made an incredible effort to ensure that every child under our care received a Christmas gift and a piece of happiness during the holidays. They secretly shared with us that one family chose to give up their own Christmas presents so they could buy gifts for children in Ukraine who are fighting cancer. This touched our hearts deeply — these people are truly extraordinary.
The EVUM team has been inspired with renewed energy for the entire year ahead and will continue working tirelessly to make sure that children receive everything they need. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has stood by us throughout this journey and supported our mission.
