During these upcoming holidays, we have special news to share. Thanks to the financial support of our friends and partners from Germany — LandsAid and Aktion Deutschland Hilft — and the efforts of our team, new medical equipment has been installed at the pediatric oncology clinic of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Center.
We have delivered bedside patient monitors to the oncology and bone marrow transplantation clinic.
In total, 15 patient monitors and two central stations were provided. These stations will receive real-time information about patients’ conditions in the wards. One station will operate in the department, while the other will be located in the area where children undergoing bone marrow transplantation are treated.
Severyn Ferneza, Head of the Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Clinic, notes:
“These monitors are more than just equipment. They perform several key functions, first and foremost:
- Safety: doctors and nurses can see each child’s condition in real time.
- Quick reactions: thanks to the central station, medical staff are instantly informed of any changes in vital indicators.
- Patient comfort: for all children, treatment becomes a more controlled and calmer process.”
The total cost of the purchased and delivered medical equipment amounts to UAH 2,185,326.
The Evum team sincerely thanks LandsAid та Aktion_deutschland_hilft. Together, we are improving the quality of healthcare and increasing children’s chances of recovery.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May the holidays bring peace and good health to our children.
