We are happy to share some wonderful news once again. Evum now has its own car — and not just a simple vehicle, but a brand-new, state-of-the-art TOYOTA RAV4, generously donated by our friends and partners from Germany: the charitable foundations LandsAid e.V. and Aktion Deutschland Hilft. This gift will significantly support our daily operations and our mission to help treat children with cancer.
The vehicle was purchased in June 2025 for UAH 1,690,546, fully funded by our German donors. It is now officially registered on our organization’s balance sheet and is actively used for trips related to Evum’s activities.
How the new car supports our team:
- Delivering essential medicines for children’s treatment to hospitals;
- Transporting children’s medical samples to laboratories for testing (sometimes requiring urgent long-distance trips between different regions of Ukraine);
- Transporting children to hospitals and safely bringing them home together with their parents;
- Taking children to medical procedures such as MRI, CT scans, and radiation therapy;
- Transporting children (sometimes accompanied by their parents) within Ukraine in urgent cases requiring immediate treatment in another city;
- Delivering medical consumables and supplies to hospitals.
In 2025 alone, we have already completed 512 such transfers. This car has therefore become an indispensable part of our team, helping us save children’s lives and significantly optimize our time and resources.
